This SAP outlines the requirements and
procedures to conduct monitoring and sampling as well as the methodology for the analysis of
groundwater samples to ensure the data collected will be of the type and quality needed and
expected for their intended purpose.
This SAP has been prepared in response to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department (SJCEHD) letter dated November 30, 2010. In the letter the SJCEHD requested the
submittal of a work plan to continue the investigation of the vertical and lateral extent of
petroleum hydrocarbon contamination at this site. However, prior to further investigating the
distribution of apparent impacts, ARCADIS proposes the implementation of the SAP. The SAP
will be implemented during the next routine sampling event (first semiannual 2011). Activities
proposed within this SAP will be conducted in conjunction to the monitoring and reporting
program (MRP) for this site. Subsequent to the first semiannual event, monitoring and sampling
activities will revert to the approved MRP.
V
The SAP is detailed below.
\\CA5FP\Data\Nproject\ENV\CHEVRON\309075\6 Deliverables\Work Plan\SAP\309075_SAP_6671110950.doc 1
