T <br /> Limited Subsurface Investigation Report <br /> LOW PRICE AUTO GLASS (Former Texaco) <br /> 3979 South Highway 99 Frontage Road, Stockton, CA <br /> V <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.(AGE)has prepared this Limited Subsurface Investigation report <br /> for the property located at 3978 South Highway 99 Frontage, Stockton, California(Figure 1). The <br /> purpose of this investigation was to assess the soil and ground water conditions in the area of the <br /> former underground storage tank(UST)system located at the site.Boring locations,area of probable <br /> UST system locations, buildings and other structure are depicted on Figure 2. <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> V <br /> The property at 3979 South Highway 99 Frontage Road, Stockton, California(the site)is operated <br /> as an active automobile glass replacement/installation facility. The site vicinity consists of <br /> commercial-use property to the north through south and California State Highway 99 and frontage <br /> road to the west. Additional background information is included as Appendix A. <br /> V <br /> 3.0. PROCEDURES <br /> V <br /> On 28 November 2005, AGE personnel initiated the first phase of the site investigation and <br /> performed soil sampling activities at the property.Prior to mobilization,the area of investigation was <br /> .r clearly marked and a utility clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert. All field <br /> procedures were overseen by an AGE representative. Procedures for the advancement of soil pfelqQ <br /> borings, soil and ground water sampling, equipment decontamination,prnhe boring abandonment, <br /> �► and sample shipment are outlined below. <br /> 3.1. -BORING ADVANCEMENT <br /> A CME-75 truck mounted drill rig was utilized to advance 8.25-inch diameter hollow-stem augers <br /> to first occurrence of ground water. The drill rig and three-man crew were supplied by Mitchell <br /> Drilling Environmental Corporation of Eureka,California.Auger returns generated by drilling were <br /> containerized in properly labeled Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved model 17H <br /> `r 55-gallon drums and stored on-site pending proper disposal. <br /> Boring BI was advanced to 83 feet below surface grade(bsg)and boring B2 was advanced to 88 feet <br /> bsg. <br /> ` Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br /> V <br />
