(AGE) has prepared the
enclosed Phase H Site Assessment Work Plan for the property at 3978 South Highway 99,APN 179-
171-03, in Stockton, California. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site
is illustrated on Figure 2.
INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND
This work plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department(EHD) for the procurement of a soil boring permit. The work is being performed at the
request of Mr. Yacoub to investigate for soil impacted by fuel components related to former
dispenser islands and underground storage tanks (USTs).
The subject property is located in the southeastern portion of the City of Stockton, San Joaquin
County, on the southeast corner of South Highway 99 and Clark Drive. Land use of the surrounding
properties is both residential and commercial. The subject site is the location of a former Texaco
Service Station which operated from approximately 1957 to 1973. At least three USTs and two
dispenser islands were formerly located on the site.
DRILLING AND SOIL SAMPLE COLLECTION
AGE proposes to advance six soil probe borings using GeoProbe "direct-push" techniques.
