Appropriate actions include: <br /> • Notify site personnel to leave work zone. <br /> • Use fire extinguishers. <br /> • Use uncontaminated water source to extinguish fire. <br /> • Evacuate work zone or fire area, call 911. <br /> • Remain at the site while waiting for Fire Department at long as it is safe to do <br /> SO. <br /> • Notify the Project Manager and Health and Safety Coordinator. <br /> • Determine (with Fire Department personnel, if called) ability to continue work. <br /> • Notify site personnel of decision to continue work or to stop work. <br /> 7.3.2 LARGE FIREIEXPLOSION <br /> In the event of an or large fire or explosion, the field supervisor will: <br /> L • Immediately order evacuation <br /> • Call 911 <br /> L <br /> • Take head count <br /> • Move personnel off site to wait for Fire Department <br /> L Notify Project Manager and Health and Safety Coordinator <br /> • Determine, in conjunction with Project Manager, whether to send site personnel <br /> L home <br /> • Remain at location, if necessary for fire department investigation. <br /> 7.4 DISCOVERY OF UNKNOWN CONTAMINATION <br /> Provisions for the identification of suspected contamination by unknown <br /> L constituents and procedures for responding to such are provided below.
