(AGE)has prepared this
report for the property located at 519 North Patton Avenue,Stockton,California. The scope of work
included soil sample collection, sample analysis, repair of septic system, permitting of septic system,
disposal of septic tank contents and preparation of this report. Background information was included
in the AGE-prepared Limited SiteAssessment WorkPlan(Septic TankArea),dated 09 February 2004
and approved by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) on 04 March
2004. The location of the site is indicated on (Figure 1).
FIELD PROCEDURES
The investigation was conducted in accordance with Limited Site Assessment Work Plan (Septic
Tank Area) to collect and analyze soil samples from beneath the septic tank, distribution box, each
20 feet of leach line and the end of each leach line of the on-site, residential septic system. On 15
March 2004 a Well Boring Permit Application was submitted to SJCEHD,which was approved on
23 March 2004. On 08 April 2004,an AGE representative was on site to locate the sampling points
requested by SJCEHD. Utilizing a small excavator the distribution box was located and uncovered.
Two of the leach lines were traced to their termination points. A section of each leach line was
uncovered approximately 20 feet from the distribution box(d-box);the termination point of each line
was also uncovered to facilitate sampling in each of those areas. The third leach line was not
uncovered, surface conditions prevented excavation. On 04 May 2004 a larger excavator capable of
digging through the surface was delivered to the site at which time, the remaining sample areas were
uncovered. The design of the septic system and locations of the sampling points are indicated on the
site plan(Figure 2).
837 Shaw Road, Stockton, Califoimia 95215
Telephone(209)467-1006 Fax(209)467-1118
