The Work Plan will be <br /> approved when the following comments and recommendations are <br /> addressed in a written addendum by the responsible party. <br /> 1. Your consultant has stated that, "The boring locations <br /> were determined at a meeting with the County on January <br /> 9 , 1991, in order to complete the investigation and avoid <br /> underground utilities. " Be advised that the specific <br /> locations and number of borings are to be determined by <br /> you or your representative and not the county. <br /> Additional work may be required to define the extent of <br /> contamination. <br /> 2 . A copy of the health and safety plan is required prior to <br /> initiating any field activity. <br /> 3 . A drilling permit application must be submitted <br /> accompanied by a check for $89 . 00. <br /> 4 . All soil samples shall be held at 40C until analyzed by <br /> a state certified laboratory. Crushed ice should be used <br /> to cool the samples quickly. Blue ice may be used after <br /> the samples have been cooled to 40C. <br /> 5.
