This has not been <br /> complied with. <br /> By May 15, 1997 your are hereby directed to contact the maintenance staff of Delta College and myself <br /> and confirm a sampling appointment during May, 1997. Your contact at Delta College is Mr. Dan Watts at <br /> (209) 954-5580. <br /> In order to verify that the pumping action of this large well is not drawing in petroleum from sources known to <br /> exist at your site,you shall collect the groundwater sample at the end of the nightly pumping cycle while the <br /> pump is still active. During your contact with the Delta College staff,you should ascertain the exact time the <br /> pump goes"off-line"for the day and the sample should be collected before that time. Mr. Watts has assured <br /> me that a small sampling port with an adjustable valve will available for your use. <br /> This well shall be sampled for Total Petroleum as Gasoline, Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylene per <br /> LUFT-EPA methods.
