o <br /> RON BLOCK <br /> UNOCAL CORP <br /> P0BOX 5155 <br /> SAN RAMON CA 94583 <br /> RE: Former Unocal SITE CODE: 2162 <br /> 5606 Pacific Ave. <br /> Stockton, CA 95207 <br /> A meeting was held on February 7, 1992 at the office of San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division (SJCPHS/EHD) and the following <br /> conditions were mutually agreed upon by representatives from both Unocal <br /> Corporation and Stone Brothers and accepted by SJCPHS/EHD as the format <br /> towards further remediation of the site. <br /> Unocal will: <br /> -submit a workplan to install four (4) additional monitoring wells along with <br /> permit applications to destroy MW2, MW8, and RW1. (by April 7, 1992) <br /> -submit to SJCPHS/EHD a report based on research of construction data, the <br /> whereabouts and status of MW3 and MW9. (by May 7, 1992) <br /> -submit a Preliminary Assessment Report to SJCPHS/EHD within sixty (60) days <br /> of issue of the permit to install the additional monitoring wells. <br /> -reestablish submittals of quarterly monitoring reports for all wells still on site <br /> and include the offsite well, MW6. <br /> Stone Bros.will: <br /> -provide access to site to Unocal or it's representatives for purposes of <br /> continuing an ongoing investigation. <br /> -submit to SJCPHS/EHD upon receipt of data of the groundwater gradient from <br /> Unocal's report of additional monitoring well installation, a written explanation <br /> why MW4 and MW5 should not be properly destroyed and left "as is."( within <br /> sixty (60) days of date of Unocal's report) <br /> If you have any questions, contact Michael Infurna, REHS, of my staff at (209) 468- <br /> 3454. <br /> Jogi Khanna, M.D., M.P.H. <br /> Health Officer <br /> Laurie A.
