Your request indicated that the pilot test will be <br /> performed by using a thermal/catalytic incinerator to control volatile organic compound (VIOC) <br /> emissions. The air flow from the vapor extraction system shall not exceed 250 cfm and the <br /> duration of the pilot test will be for a maximum of 120 hours (5 days). Per District Policy) <br /> SSPP 14-1, the typical air flow from the vapor extraction system should not exceed 100 cf . <br /> Based on the justification provided, the District has granted your request to perform a pilot test . <br /> at the higher air flow. The proposed pilot test utilizing the above mentioned emission control <br /> system is exempt from District permitting requirements. The Compliance Division of the <br /> Northern Region should be notified of the actual start date of the test.
