The Workplan complies with Order No.6 of the C&A.
EAI proposes to complete a test boring at a potential well location about 1000 feet southwest of Delta College's
Robinhood Irrigation Well (RIW). This location was chosen in collaboration with the Delta College.
A six-inch diameter boring will be completed to 400 feet below ground surface, the boring will be E-logged, and
soil and groundwater samples collected from potential aquifer units. The soil samples will be used for sieve
analysis, and the water samples analyzed for general minerals, total petroleum hydrocarbons, and volatile organic
compounds including fuel oxygenates. Following sample collection, the boring will be backfilled with cement
grout. The results of this drilling and sampling will be used to design an irrigation well and replace the impacted
RIW.Upon completion of the boring and well design, EAI will submit an updated plan of work to install the
replacement irrigation well.
The Workplan is approved with the following comments:
• The updated plan of work must list all open and closed underground storage tank sites and existing water
supply wells within 2,500 feet of the proposed replacement irrigation well, and show these sites on a map.
• The water samples must also be analyzed for BTEX constituents.
Please notify San Joaquin County Staff and me at least two business days prior to any site work or sampling to
schedule a field inspection.
