Dan Watts added that due <br /> to changes in water pressure from using the City of Stockton supplied water along with pressure boosters, <br /> the Delta College has had many breaks in their water lines, which have cost the College over$1,000 per <br /> occurrence to repair these breaks. <br /> Stone Brothers stated that they will supply a letter to the Regional Board stating that Downey Brand has the <br /> authority to represent Stone Brothers in their environmental matters. <br /> Steve Bright presented an update on the irrigation well bid process. He stated that EAI prepared a bid <br /> package for replacement of the Delta College irrigation well, destruction of the existing RIW, and <br /> construction of tie-in pipelines. These bids are due to EAI by close of business today. The bids will be sent <br /> to the Cleanup Fund for final approval, and Steve was told that the Cleanup Fund will process this final pre- <br /> approval within 48 hours. (A copy of the bid package will be sent to all participants on this teleconference <br /> call.) Steve added that EAI is working with the San Joaquin County EHD to agree on a final well <br /> destruction procedure for the RIW. <br /> Sean Bezark presented an update on Wards reassignment of the UST Cleanup Fund Account. Sean sent a <br /> proposal to Unocal and Wards on 19 April 2001, outlining the concepts for the reassignment. Unocal, <br /> Stone Brothers, and Wards all agreed to start negotiations this week to complete this phase of work. <br /> Board staff reminded all parties that Stone Brothers are listed on the Cleanup and Abatement(C&A) Order <br /> as a responsible party, and they should complete the joint claimant process with Wards in order to receive <br /> future reimbursement funds from the UST Cleanup Fund. Board staff also reminded all parties that Unocal, <br /> Wards, and Stone Brothers are currently out of compliance with regards to the C&A Order. A Final <br /> Remediation Plan was due on 1 December 2000, and an approved remediation system was due to'start <br /> operation at the Unocal site on 26 January 2001. A quarterly monitoring report was due on 15 April 2001. <br /> All parties agreed to meet for a follow-up teleconference next Friday, 27 April 2001 at 0830 Pacific Time. <br /> i <br />
