Field events were
t conducted on February 1, 2007, February 6, 2007, February 20, 2007, and March 23, 2007 to evaluate
the pressure drop and flow rates though the air sparge conveyance piping at ten sparge wells(VEW-6B,
VEW-8B, VEW-1013, VEW-11 B, MW-19S, MW-19D, MW-23S, MW-25S, MW-25D, and AS-33). These
' sparge wells were selected in consideration of location (both north and south sides of Robinhood Drive),
accessibility for conducting flow measurement, and/or depth of the well screen interval. Locations of
these sparge wells are shown on the attached figure.
' The initial site visit on February 1, 2007 was conducted to measure pressure and flow rate in sparge
wells on the former Montgomery Wards property(VEW-6, VEW-8, VEW-10, and VEW-11). Air sparge
1 wells were operated individually(valves closed to all sparge wells except the one being operated)to
obtain the measurements shown in Table 1.
t
t
A Trusted Global Environmental,Health and Safety Partner
Sparge Flux Rate
Summary_Sloddon_306620 Final.doc
