(EAI), on behalf of Montgomery Ward, LLC (Wards) and Union Oil <br /> Company of California (Unocal), is submitting to the California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board, Central Valley Region (RWQCB) for its review and comment, this Work Plan <br /> outlining the proposed location of a new Delta College irrigation well ("the New Irrigation <br /> Well"). Pursuant to requirements contained in Cleanup and Abatement Order No. 5-00-707: <br /> (1) the purpose of the New Irrigation Well is to provide Delta College a permanent long-term <br /> irrigation water source that meets existing design capabilities of the Delta College Robinhood <br /> Irrigation Well (RIW) which was taken out of service on August 22, 2000; and (2) this Work <br /> Plan is due by November 6, 2000. Figure 1 shows the proposed location for the New Imgation <br /> Well.
