The wells were resurveyed in September 2004 and new top of PVC casing elevations were recorded. The differences in surveyed elevations may have occurred because the original depth-to-water
measurements from some wells were made at the"top of outer protective casing'rather than the"top of PVC"The groundwater elevations have been revised to show corrected calculated levels.
(c) GW Elev=groundwater elevation,in feet above mean sea level. Calculated as difference of Depth to GW(as measured in feet below top of PVC pipe)and monitoring well top of PVC pipe elevations as surveyed in
September 2004.
(d) Change in Elev=change in groundwater elevation, calculated as difference of current and previous GW Elev.Where a well was previously dry,the change in elevation value is calculated using the last available elevation.
(a) Average hydraulic gradient.
(f) Direction of groundwater flow, calculated from GW Elev for MW-1,MW-2,MW-3,MW-4,and MW-5.
(g) For period of 1/5/00 through 1/7/00,monitoring well groundwater depths were measured on different days: well MW-1 was measured on 1/5/00;and wells MW-2 and MW-3 were measured on 1/7/00.
(h) For period of 7/25/01 through 7128/01,monitoring well groundwater depths were measured on different days:wells MW-1 was measured on 7/27/01;well MW-2 was measured on 7/25/01 and;well MW-3
was measured on 7/28/01.
(i) For period of 8/28/03 through 9/4/03,monitoring well groundwater depths were measured on different days.Wells MW-1 and MW-2 were measured on 8/28/03 and;well MW-3 was measured on 9/4/03.
Q) For period of 1/19/06 through 1/25/06,groundwater monitoring well groundwater depths were measured on different days.Well MW-2 was measured on 1/19/06;wells MW-3.MW-4,and MW-5 were measured on 1/24/06;
and well MW-1 was measured on 1/25/06.
(k) For period of 4/17/06 through 4/18/06,monitoring well groundwater depths were measured on different days.Well MW-4 was measured on 4/18/06 and wells MW-1,MW-2,MW-3 and MW-5 were measured on 4/17/06.
(1) For period of 11/26/07 through 11/27/07,monitoring well groundwater depths were measured on different days.Wells MW-1 and MW-3 were measured on 11/26/07,and wells MW-2,MW4 and MW-5 were measured
on 11/27/07.
(m) Wells MW-1,MW-2,MW-3 and MW-5 were sampled on 4/16/08;MW4 could not be sampled due to agricultural damage. MW4 was repaired and sampled on 6/16/08.
(n) Purging with a bailer dewatered the well and the water did not recover.
(o) The change in groundwater flow direction to the northeast is likely due to limited available data and not reflective of the actual groundwater flow direction.
(p) Three of five wells were dry,and the groundwater gradient direction and magnitude cannot be computed with only two data points.
(q) Insufficient water was available for sampling and therefore water detected in well may reflect water trapped in bottom of well and not reflective groundwater elevations.
(r) Top of casing elevation was modified.Calculated elevation is adjusted based on the revised top of casing surveyed November 2018.
(s) Groundwater gradient and flow direction could not be determined because the layout of the three wells that were not dry is approximately linear.
Monitoring Well Installation Work PLan,
The Wine Group,Franzia Winery,Ripon,California
P:\IS-Proj\2003-post archive\030120.XY_GW Mon Well Support\09-Reports\Table 1-2 2025 Work Plan.xlsx Page 4 of 4
