1 Temporary Pieter Installation and Destruction Work Plan
City of Stockton,Regional Wastewater Control Facility
Page 3
Condor, a licensed land surveyor, will survey the locations and relative elevations of the temporary
piezometers collars following completion of installation activities. The temporary piezometers collars will
be surveyed; with a vertical accuracy of 0.01 foot and horizontal accuracy of 0.3 foot, each referenced to
a datum to comply with AB2886 (Water Code Sections 13195 — 13198).
Following completion of the 14-day groundwater gradient study, the four temporary piezometers will be
properly destroyed by a California Licensed C-57 contractor, under the supervision of a Condor
professional geologist. The temporary piezometers will be destroyed by lifting the PVC casing and
dislodging the slip caps from the bottom of the PVC screens. Bentonite slurry will be tremied into each
boring using the temporary piezometers casings as they are retracted. In the event the casing cannot be
lifted, the temporary piezometers casings will be over-drilled and backfilled with neat cement to within
three feet bgs.Native fill will be used to complete the boreholes to the ground surface.
Project Schedule
Condor can initiate permitting activities immediately upon approval of this Work Plan. The drilling
schedule will be dependent on the contractors' availability. Surveying will be conducted following
completion of installation of the four temporary piezometers. Upon completion of field activities, and
destruction of the four temporary piezometers, a closure letter report will be prepared for submittal to the
SJCEHD.Please call us at(209)234-0518 with any questions.
Respectfully submitted,
CONDOR EARTH TECHNOLOGIES,INC
i beeline Doyle f,P.G. k 1dllCl IELIN F r.
