K L E I N F E L D E R <br /> EXPECT MORE` <br /> Task E3 Reporting <br /> Upon completion of the field activities and receipt of the analytical results, a brief letter <br /> report of findings will be prepared by Kleinfelder. The report will include: <br /> • A description of the field activities, observations, and protocols <br /> • Lithologic Logs <br /> • Tabulated results of groundwater monitoring results <br /> • A graphical representation of groundwater sampling locations <br /> • Description and documentation of QA/QC procedures employed for field work <br /> All information gathered during the study by Kleinfelder is considered confidential and <br /> will be released only upon written authorization from the client or as required by law. <br /> California law requires a person to inform the state if a situation is encountered that can <br /> be considered an immediate endangerment to the public's health or welfare and/or to <br /> the environment. Therefore, the client will be contractually bound to make any said <br /> disclosures in lieu of Kleinfelder, its owners, principals, employees or subcontractors. <br /> PROJECT SCHEDULE <br /> The proposed scope of work would be performed in accordance with the following <br /> approximate schedule. <br /> Approximate Task <br /> Timeline <br /> Week 0 Formal authorization provided by the client <br /> Week 1-2 Permit Acquisition and Groundwater Sampling <br /> Week-2 Limited Groundwater Assessment Letter Report Preparation and Submittal <br /> Kleinfelder has no control over the time required by the regulatory agency. <br /> CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSUMPTIONS <br /> This proposal and the attached cost estimate are based on the following assumptions <br /> and responsibilities: <br /> • OMI/Thames Water Stockton will assist Kleinfelder in obtaining access to the site <br /> and owner authorization for the proposed sampling. <br /> • The field work is scheduled for one day. If more than one day is needed to <br /> perform the scope of work additional fees will be incurred. <br /> • Traffic control will not be needed. Personnel from OMI/Thames Water Stockton, <br /> Inc will provide access and reserve the work area for Kleinfelder and our <br /> 02002PROP.ENV/ST07P083R Page 3 of 6 <br /> 0 2007 Kleinfelder May 17, 2007 <br />
