I do want to stress the
importance of the well completion. The well should be completed such
that first groundwater is the primary goal. The first groundwater
geologic horizon that we see in MW-4 maybe just in the levee
construction. If so, most likely it does not extend beyond the
construction of the levee. Therefore a similar geologic horizon may not
be in the new well location.
The objective of this new well and all the other groundwater monitoring
wells at this facility is to monitor first groundwater as an indicator
of possible impacts to groundwater by the pond system.
Thanks, George
>>> "Jeff Willett" <jwillett@condorearth.com> 05/24/05 10:26AM >>>
George,
Attached is an aerial photo showing a revised well location about 150
feet south of MW-4 and about 100 feet orthogonally from the drainage
ditch. Please let Steve and me know if you have any other comments. We
are proceeding with scheduling the drillers for well installation next
month.
Jeff Willett, P.E.
Engineering Services Manager
Condor Earth Technologies, Inc.
188 Frank West Circle, Suite I
Stockton, California 95206
Direct Line (209) 234-1507 ext. 2217
Office Phone (209) 234-0516
1
