Highway 99 <br /> Stockton California <br /> ' August 17, 2007 <br /> GPE Project No. 471.2 <br /> ' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> ' The Property is located on the frontage road along west side if the US 99 <br /> Freeway between Munford Avenue and Carpenter Road in an industrial area <br /> ' of an un-incorporated part of Stockton, CA. It consists of single parcel of <br /> industrial land encompassing a total area of about 8.23 acres. Fixed facilities <br /> on the Property consist principally of a steel frame building that has been <br /> ' used as office, and manufacturing space. The principal use of the Property is <br /> as a manufacturing plant. (See maps in Appendix A for more graphical <br /> information.) <br /> The Property is currently occupied by San Joaquin County A ctioneers. It is <br /> served by a domestic water well and septic sewage system. An unpaved area <br /> ' lying between the building and the road frontage is the site of inline septic <br /> tanks and an associated leach field. <br /> ' This report documents the installation of two soil borings and testing of a <br /> water sample from the domestic water well as we recently proposed on July <br /> 16, 2007. <br /> 1.1 Site Status <br /> ' While in use by a former owner, wastewater laden with inorganic solids and <br /> oxygenated solvents were disposed of through the septic tank. In 1988, the <br /> original occupant of the Property was cited by a predecessor agency of the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department for discharging <br /> industrial waste consisting of effluent from a circuit board washer to the <br /> 2937 Veneman Avenue, Suite B240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc.
