An unpaved area
lying between the building and the road frontage is the site of three-inline septic
tanks and associated leach field.
1.1 Site Status
While in use by a former owner, wastewater laden with inorganic solids and
oxygenated solvents were disposed of through the septic tank. In 1988, the
original occupant of the Property was cited by a predecessor agency of the San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Department for discharging industrial
waste consisting of effluent from a circuit board washer to the septic sewage
system. To further investigate the impact to the soil in the vicinity of the septic
tank, a total of 6 soil borings were installed in the vicinity of the septic tank and
leach field.
