Mr. James L. L. Barton
HL.TU F California Regional Water Quality Control Board
Central Valley Region
&ASSOCIATES, INC. September 30, 2009- Page 3
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS
CONCLUSION
All wells associated with California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region
(5) (CRWQCB-CVR) case number 390054 and SJCEHD case number 1784 have been either
transferred to the Lincoln Center Environmental Trust or properly abandoned. Monitoring wells
MW-6, MW-7, MW-9, MW-12, MW-13, and MW-14 were abandoned by overdrilling. Monitoring
wells MW-4, MW-10, and MW-11D were abandoned by pressure grouting. Monitoring wells MW-2,
MW-3, and MW-5 were transferred to the Lin coin Center Environmental Trust for use in their open
environmental case. It is anticipated.that these activities sufficiently fulfill Chevron's responsibility
in the aforementioned local and regional environmental cases. As such, HFA and Chevron
request that the UST case closure process continue and a no.further action letter be transmitted.
Holguin, Fahan & Associates, Inc. trusts that this well abandonment report meets your
requirements. If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Mr.
Elias W. Scott at (805) 641-4091 or Eli_Scott@hfa.com.
Respectfully submitted, .
Elias W.
