Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 AUG 0 5 1991 <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> Re: Chevron S.S. #9-6171 PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> 6633 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA <br /> Dear Mr. Schneider: <br /> Enclosed is a report dated June 18, 1991 which describes groundwater monitoring by Chevron's <br /> consultant, Sierra Environmental (Sierra), on June 6, 1991 at the site referenced above. <br /> Groundwater gradient direction and levels of petroleum hydrocarbons were consistent with <br /> previous observations. <br /> As we discussed on the telephone today, I would like to install an additional groundwater <br /> monitoring well directly downgradient of the former underground fuel storage tanks while the <br /> service station is closed during upcoming construction activities. Any help which you could <br /> provide to allow this work to be performed in conjunction with Chevron's construction schedule <br /> would be greatly appreciated. I have instructed Sierra to prepare a work plan for your review.
