I verified my conclusions with my PG and my administration. I'm going to have to quote our ordinance for pressure grouting these wells. The ordinance calls out that a well CANNOT be pressure grouted if the well is "...of unknown construction or in an area of known contamination..." The Lincoln Solvent plume is under this site and all around the area where all the wells are located. With PCE the driver for this requirement and since all of the wells conta_ in-it, I can not permit the pressure grout procedure for any of the wells. the EHD will require ALL wells to be overbored to total depth of construction. I recommend you target your drilling to TD + 1 foot. I don't have the wells specs in front of me, but at least the same size auger used for installation is to be used for the destruction. any 4" wells here? I'll need verification from Chevron/you that this is the plan you will follow. An email will do if the CVRWQCB doesn't require a workplan revision. Are the bore logs on GT for all of the wells? pre-2005 was exempted from this req. You can save some of my charges to Chevron looking for them by providing them with the applications. thanks for your cooperation.
