SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION <br /> On August 18, 1993, Soils Exploration Services of Vacaville, California (C-57 3582696) <br /> installed one ground water monitoring well (MW-7) using a CME-55 hollow-stem auger dnll rig <br /> The monitoring well location is shown on Figure 2(Appendix A) The monitoring well was installed <br /> to further evaluate the extent of petroleum hydrocarbons in ground water and to verify the ground <br /> water flow direction <br /> Soil Boring <br /> Soil samples were collected, screened using an organic vapor meter (OVM), and logged in <br /> accordance with SES Standard Operating Procedures for Soil Sampling, OVM Readings, and <br /> Logging Method, respectively (Appendix C) <br /> Soils encountered during drilling generally consisted of low-permeability clay and silt and <br /> low-to moderate permeability silty sand <br /> P.O.
