�! rr <br /> • SIERRA <br /> smmaY ARY <br /> This report presents the results of the subsurface investigation conducted by Sierra <br /> Environmental Services(SES) for Chevron Service Station#9-6171 located at 6633 Pacific Avenue <br /> in Stockton, California The objective of the SES investigation was to evaluate the presence or <br /> absence of hydrocarbons directly downgradient of the former underground storage tanks One <br /> monitoring well, MW-6, was drilled and installed for this investigation <br /> The soils encountered during drilling consisted of primarily low- to moderate-permeability <br /> sandy silt and silty sand and high-permeability sand and silty sand The water bearing zone is <br /> approximately 56 feet below grade <br /> Hydrocarbons as gasoline, benzene, toluene, ethyibenzene and xylenes (STEM were not <br /> detected in soil samples analyzed for this investigation <br /> One monitoring well, MW-1, was abandoned The boring was drilled out and grouted to <br /> the surface with a mixture of Portland Cement and 3 to 5% bentonite powder <br /> Page 1 <br />
