24 September 2008 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 08-1636 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br /> Ground water and selected soil samples, a minimum of one soil sample from each boring and any <br /> impacted soil samples, will be submitted for laboratory analysis. The selected samples will be <br /> analyzed by a State of California Department of Public Health(CDPH)-certified laboratory for the <br /> following constituents: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as oil (TPH-o), gasoline (TPH-g), and diesel <br /> (TPH-d) in accordance with EPA Method 8015M and <br /> • Volatile organic compounds(VOCs),including benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene and xylenes <br /> (BTEX), tetrachloroethene (PCE) and trichloroethene (TCE) in accordance with EPA <br /> Method 8260B. <br /> Laboratory reports for soil analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings and recommendations. <br /> 3.3. REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings of the investigation and signed by a California Professional Geologist. The <br /> report will include a description of the work performed and results of the sampling and analysis. <br /> Conclusions, applicable recommendations, and maps will be included in the report. <br /> 3.4. SCHEDULE <br /> The generalized schedule after receipt of Regional Water Board approval of the Work Plan is as <br /> follows: <br /> • Within two weeks, obtain a boring permit and perform pre-field work activities; <br /> • Within two to four weeks,preform field work and laboratory analysis; and <br /> • Within six to eight weeks, report preparation and submittal to Regional Water Board. <br /> 4.0. FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California <br /> Professional Geologist.Procedures for the advancement of soil boring,soil sampling,ground water <br /> sampling, equipment decontamination and sample shipment are outlined below. <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
