Te asibility Testing Work Plan
Jimco Truck Plaza
1022 Frontage Road
Ripon, California
June 23,2005
A Horiba gas analyzer, calibrated to iso-butlylene, will be used to field measure oxygen, carbon
dioxide,and hydrocarbon vapor concentrations from the extraction well. A TSI thermoanemometer
will be used to measure vapor extraction flow rates and temperature. Magnehelic gauges will be used
to measure the vacuum applied at the wellhead and induced in the observation wells. A Solinist water
level meter will be used to measure the depth of groundwater in the observation wells. A Thomas
Industries vacuum pump will be used to collect soil vapor samples in one-liter Tedlar bags for
laboratory analysis.
5.6 Investigation Derived Waste (IDW)
Investigation derived waste(IDW)generated during the site assessment activities will be temporarily
stored onsite in Department of Transportation-approved 55-gallon drums. Following review of
analytical results and disposal profiling, the IDW will be transported to an appropriate facility for
disposal/recycling.
6.0 REPORTING
Upon completing the field activities,Cambria will prepare and submit a Feasibility Study/Corr tive
Action Plan(FS/CAP)to the SJCEHD detailing the findings of the feasibility testing activities. At a
minimum,this report will contain:
• Summary and evaluation of the feasibility testing activities;
• Tabulated test parameter data and analytical results;
• Feasibility testing field data sheets;
• Analytical reports and chain-of-custody forms;
• Comparison of various remedial alternatives; and
• Remedial approach recommendations.
7.0 SCHEDULE
Upon receiving written work plan approval from the SJCEHD, Cambria will commence
implementation of the work plan. Cambria will submit an FS/CAP to SJCEHD within approximately
8 weeks following the completion of field activities.
10
