A portion of the QGF facility will also be dedicated to Nursery cultivation. This shall serve a primary <br /> purpose of providing nursery stock to feed on-site cultivation operations,with a secondary purpose of <br /> producing Nursery stock to be sold wholesale to State-licensed Cultivators and Retailers. <br /> Ancillary to the primary Cultivation activity would be the processing,packaging,and secure storage of <br /> finished'cannabis flower'as well as constant maintenance of on-site security,administrative functions <br /> including record keeping,correspondence,and interface with facility personnel. <br /> Finished Cannabis Flower'Batches'will be transported off-site via state licensed distributors who may <br /> process and package the cannabis flower for resale,following storage and sampling for lab testing to <br /> ensure product quality and compliance with state regulation. <br /> All product transactions,including the physical transfer of cannabis goods,shall take place wholly within <br /> the confines of the secured facility perimeter. <br /> Nursery Cultivation <br /> During the Nursery Cultivation process,cultivation technicians will monitor automated cultivation <br /> systems within Building 1. These systems will be comprised of the 19-Watt cultivation lamps,water tanks <br /> in which nutrients will be mixed prior to and fed to the cannabis plants via hoses accessible in each grow <br /> module, air-conditioning,dehumidification,ventilation and odor control systems. <br /> The Nursery Operations Manager will monitor the cultivation technicians,advise them as to best <br /> practices,and maintain the State's Track and Trace system as necessary during each shift. <br /> There are three(3)stages involved in the cultivation phase including 1)Propagation 2)Vegetation: and <br /> 3)Flowering. <br /> Initially,Cannabis clones will be sourced from licensed Nurseries and delivered to Quality Genetics <br /> Farms Greenhouse Facility to be grown to maturity.Ultimately,QGF will produce its own Nursery stock. <br /> Natural light will be utilized as much as possible,with artificial light to be utilized during short-light days <br /> and night-time hours. Retractable roof curtains shall be deploved when artificial light is utilized during <br /> night-time hours to prevent light pollution in the area. During the cultivation process,cultivation <br /> technicians will maintain and utilize integrated cultivation systems in Greenhouse. These systems will be <br /> comprised of 19-watt,240-watt, and 600-watt,and cultivation lamps depending on the stage and method <br /> of cultivation,an irrigation well connected via plumbing to water tanks from which hose spigots can be <br /> run through each Greenhouse,air-conditioning,dehumidification,and ventilation systems,as well as <br /> odor mitigation equipment. <br /> Each stage will also involve the repeated application of unique identifiers and recording of data into the <br /> State's"Track and Trace System"as the plants mature through the various phases. <br /> 1.Propagation-At the onset of the propagation stage,cultivation technicians would implant immature <br /> clones into a small organic medium comprised or rock-wool where,during a two week period the <br /> plantings will sit under 19-Watt lamps with eighteen(18)hours of light and six(6)hours of darkness to <br /> take root prior to the Vegetation stage. Clones will be segregated in lots comprised of no more than 100 <br /> immature cannabis plants. Each lot will be assigned a unique identifier for Track and Trace purposes. <br /> Propagation will take place within the Building 1 Nursery("Veg")premises which will be a dedicated <br /> Quality Genetics Farms 3 <br />
