The proposed <br /> wells (PW-1 to PW-12) will be installed at 12 separate locations on and <br /> near the depot (See Figure 11.0-1) to monitor the presence of any <br /> trichloroethene (TCE) contamination that may exist in the groundwater. <br /> The wells will be installed into the three uppermost aquifers which are <br /> at depths of approximately 30, 60 and 140 feet below the land surface at <br /> SHAD: these aquifers have been termed Zones A, B, and C, respectively. <br /> As shown in Figure 11.0-1, a cluster of A, B, and C Zone wells will be <br /> installed at some of the proposed locations and at other locations one or <br /> two of the zones will have a well installed to monitor groundwater <br /> quality.
