Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> SUBJECT: Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation, Sharpe Army Depot,Lathrop, CA <br /> Dear Mr. Knoll: <br /> On behalf of the Defense Logistics Agency,DDJC-Sharpe/Tracy Environmental Management,URS <br /> will be drilling and constructing two additional groundwater monitoring well clusters as part of the <br /> on-going remediation effort at the Sharpe Army Depot. The wells to be installed are in the North <br /> Balloon area within the Sharpe Depot. These wells have already been approved by the RWQCB <br /> (Marcus Pierce). <br /> Drilling is scheduled to begin on November 1, 2004. Sarah Tourre of URS is the field coordinator, <br /> and Hollis Phillips of the URS San Francisco office will be the field geologist.
