•I hereby certify under penalty of law , that <br /> personnel under my direction and supervision at <br /> this facility are undertaking specific steps in <br /> accordance with a program in place, to minimize the <br /> amount and toxicity of hazardous wastes generated <br /> at this facility to a degree economically <br /> practicable and that the method utilized for the <br /> treatment, storage or disposal of hazardous wastes <br /> is the most practicable method currently available <br /> to this facility which minimizes the present and <br /> future threat to human health and the environment. <br /> I am aware that there is significant penalties for <br /> false certification, including the possibility of <br /> fine and imprisonment for flagrant falsifications. " <br /> The Permittee shall make this certification at least annually. <br /> [40 CFR 264.73(b) (9) ] <br /> 2a. On or before September 1, 1991 and every four years thereafter, <br /> the Permittee shall conduct a source reduction evaluation review <br /> and plan and a source reduction evaluation review and plan <br /> summary pursuant to Permit Conditions II.G.2b. and II.G.2c. <br /> b. Except as provided in Permit Condition II.G.2d. , the source <br /> reduction evaluation review and plan required by Permit <br /> Condition II.G.2a. shall be Conducted and completed for each site <br /> and shall include, at a minimum, all of the following: <br /> (1) The name and location of the site. <br /> (2) The SIC Code of the site. <br /> (3) Identification of all routinely generated hazardous waste <br /> streams which result from ongoing processes or operations <br /> that have a yearly volume exceeding five percent of the <br /> total yearly volume of hazardous waste generated at the <br /> site, or, of acute hazardous waste, five percent of the <br /> total yearly volume generated at the site. <br /> (4) For each hazardous waste stream identified in Permit <br /> Condition II.G.2b(3) , the review and plan shall include all <br /> of the following information: <br /> (a) An estimate of the quantity of hazardous waste <br /> generated. <br /> (b) An evaluation of source reduction approaches available <br /> to the Permittee which-are potentially viable. _The _ . <br /> evaluation shall consider at least all of the following <br /> source reduction approaches: <br /> (i) Input change. <br /> (ii) Operational improvement. <br /> 4 <br />
