Plume 7 and 8 (North Balloon Area Plume)--Approximately 650 yd' of <br /> soil is estimated to be contaminated with TCE at concentrations of <br /> 100 µg/kg or greater. <br /> 7. Fuel-Related Contamination--The extent of contamination caused by <br /> fuels will be documented in an addendum to the 1990 RI report. <br /> ® Remediation of soils contaminated with fuels will conform with the <br /> guidelines set forth the Tri-Regional Recommendation, required by <br /> CVRWQCB. <br /> 8. Arsenic--Although arsenic has been detected in soils samples at <br /> SHARPE, its presence has not been attrZuted to past or current <br /> activities onsite. <br /> 9. Selenium--No evidence exists that SHARPE used or disposed of <br /> selenium onsite. <br /> 10. Bromacil--Bromacil was detected in 3 of 240 soil samples analyzed; the <br /> highest concentration reported was 4.6 gg/g. <br /> 11. Organochlorine Pesticides--DDT, DDD, DDE, and chlordane were <br /> detected near Bldg. T-47 (located in the North Balloon Area). DDT, <br /> DDDD, DDE, and lindane were detected in Bum Pits located in the <br /> South Balloon Area. <br /> Contaminants found at SWMUs are summarized as follows: <br /> S#1-Bldg.
