Pwir wvw
the contract. The AE shall submit versions of this document in accordance
with the requirements of Section 4.0 and the schedule provided in Section 5.0
of this SOW.
3.9 (Task 13)-construction & Operation Cost Estimates The AE shall
prepare a detailed cost estimate for construction and operation of the
designed facility. The construction cost estimate shall be separate from the
operation cost estimate. The operation cost estimate shall include the entire
estimated operational life of the remedial system, and shall be shown on an
annual basis at present worth. The cost estimates shall be prepared according
to the guidance provided in Reference 10.1. The AE shall submit versions of
this document in accordance with the requirements of Section 4.0 and the
schedule provided in Section 5.0 of this SOW.
3. 10 Field Data; Certain field data is necessary for design of the
system. The AE shall perform the required field work and collect the data as
described in the approved Remedial Design Work Plan and the following
paragraphs. Where modifications to the existing work plans and SOPs are
required, the AE shall document such modifications through a letter report to
be submitted prior to implementation of the field work.
3. 10. 1 1Task 14) Injection Wells The AE shall install a well at each
location and depth proposed in the upcoming THAMA engineering report for a
treated water injection well and perform pumping tests to verify aquifer
characteristics. The Groundwater Feasibility Study (Reference 10.10) proposes
six (6) wells for the "A-zone" aquifer and ten (10) wells for the "B & C zone"
aquifers. The AE shall recommend appropriate pumping tests in Task 2 to
evaluate the hydraulic conductivity of the aquifer at each location and depth.
The AE shall compare appropiate field parameters resulting from the actual
Pump tests to those used in design of the injection well network, and make
recommendations for any adjustments to the injection well network which may be
necessary. The completed injection wells shall be incorporated into the
remedial design.
3.10.2 1Task 15) Field Investigation Report The AE shall prepare an
engineering report fully documenting the field activities performed. The AE
shall evaluate the data and incorporate applicable data into
the design documents developed under this delivery order.
3.11 (Task 16)-Meetings The AE shall provide two professionals,
thoroughly familiar with the project, at each meeting to be held at DDRWS or
AA-8
