SUBSTANTIVE REQUIREMENTS -8- • May 21, 1992
FOR DDRW, SHARPE
attached hereto and by reference a part of these substantive requirements. This attachment
and its individual paragraphs are commonly referenced as "Standard Provisions".
15. The Discharger shall report promptly to the Board any material change or proposed
change in the character, location, or volume of the discharge.
16. In the event of any change in ownership of land or waste discharge facilities
presently owned or controlled by DDRW, Sharpe and associated with the ground water
cleanup of the SHARPE Site, Sharpe shall submit, within 180 days prior to transfer of
land, a formal application for Waste Discharge Requirements to the Regional Board. In
addition, Sharpe shall notify at that time the succeeding owner or operator of the existence
of these substantive requirements by letter, a copy of which shall be forwarded to this
office.
17. A copy of these substantive waste discharge requirements shall be kept at the
discharge facility for reference by operating personnel. Key operating personal shall be
familiar with its contents.
18. The Board will review these substantive waste discharge requirements periodically
and may revise them prior to the five year Record of Decision review. Should new or
higher ground water contaminants or constituents create `significant' treatment changes to
the DDRW, SHARPE GWTS, then these changes will have to be done through a ROD
amendment.
