This
information shall be displayed on a water table contour map.
Injection Wells
During the injection of treated ground water into the injection well(s), the following monitoring
program shall be implemented at each injection well:
Sampling
Constituents Units Frequency
Total Volume of
Water Injected gallons Weekly
Injection Rate at Time
of Sampling gpm Weekly
Pressure at Time
of Sampling psig Weekly
Water Level ft msl Weekly
BACKGROUND WATER QUALITY
Background for ground water parameters has not been established for the different water bearing
zones. Adequate data for determining the statistical background parameters and constituents listed
under "FULL SCALE OPERATIONAL PHASE MONITORING' above shall be determined.
Analyses shall account for measurement errors in sampling and analysis. Data from these
statistical analyses shall be reported to the Board, the Department of Toxic Substances Control
(Department) and the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) within 15 months after
beginning the POP .
QUALITY CONTROL SAMPLES
For quality control purposes the Discharger shall collect and have analyzed one sampling blank
and one duplicate for every ten samples collected and analyzed. Each of these quality control
samples shall be analyzed for the same parameters as the other samples collected.
REPORTING
In reporting the monitoring data, the Discharger shall arrange the data in tabular form so that the
sampling location, date, constituent/parameters, and concentrations/measurements are readily
discernible. The data shall be summarized in such a manner to illustrate clearly the compliance
with the substantive waste discharge requirements. Potentiometric contour maps shall be prepared
for all areas affected by the extraction and injection well fields.
