S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) <br /> under authority of the Solid Waste Disposal Act, as amended by the Resource <br /> Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, as amended (42 United States Code <br /> (USC) 6901 et sea. , commonly known as RCRA) and regulations promulgated <br /> thereunder by the U. S. EPA (codified and to be codified in Title 40 of the <br /> Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) ) . This Permit is issued to the Defense <br /> Logistics Agency, Defense Distribution Region West-Sharpe Site (hereafter <br /> called the Permittee ) , to operate the Defense Distribution Region <br /> West-Sharpe Site hazardous waste storage facility located at Buildings 530 <br /> and 605, Lathrop, California at latitude 370 51' north and longitude 1210 <br /> 16' west. <br /> The Permittee must comply with all terms and conditions of this Permit. <br /> This Permit consists of the conditions contained herein and the applicable <br /> regulations contained in 40 CFR Parts 260 through 270 and 124 as specified <br /> in the Permit. Applicable regulations are those which are in effect on the <br /> date of issuance of this Permit, unless the Permit is later modified, <br /> pursuant to 40 CFR 270.41 or 40 CFR 270.42. If part of the Permit is <br /> modified, the applicable regulations for that part are those which are in <br /> effect on the date the modification is issued (40 CFR 270.32(c) ) . <br /> This Permit is based on the assumption that the information submitted in <br /> the Part B Permit application dated March 8 , 1990 , as modified by an <br /> • amendment dated November 15, 1990, (hereafter referred to as the Part B <br /> application) is accurate and that the facility will be operated as <br /> specified in the application.
