The purpose of the additional soil and groundwater investigation was
conducted to,satisfy recent data requirements for the California Regional Water Quality
Control Board, Central Valley Region.
The subject report was reviewed by DTSC's David L. Berry, Ph.D., Senior Toxicologist (see
internal memorandum dated October 2, 2001). DTSC concurs that the analytical data
supporting this investigation appears adequate in both quantity and quality. The residual
levels of petroleum-related constituents in the soils at the site are below levels that would
constitute an unacceptable risk to human health and the environment which is consistent with
our previous review of the property (see enclosed memo dated March 14, 2000). As with any
real property, if previously unidentified contamination is discovered at the Site, additional
assessment, and/or remediation may be required.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact Mr. Jerry Lile at
s _ (916) 2 ilr, _
55 37 T4 C. h u' cIECtFO(1 c r ail address at ;Lle wdfC:Ga. w
Sincerely,
Megan Cambridge, Chief
Expedited Remedial Action.Program Unit
Enclosures F ' - _.
cc's: See-next page: =^
The energy challenge facing California is real.
