In its letter,the
DTSC concurred with the human health screening evaluation that the residual levels of petroleum-
related hydrocarbons in the soils at the site<,are below levels that would constitute an unacceptable risk
to human health and the environment. This concurrence is consistent with the DTSC's previous
review for the property.
Based on the results of the investigations performed to date, delineation of petroleum-affected soil
and groundwater has been completed; documentation of these investigations were submitted to your
office in February 2001. Chevron renews its request that RWQCB staff review the submitted
documents. Following RW.QCB staff review,Chevron intends to submit a low risk site closure
request to your office for the subject property.
In order to facilitate your staff's review.of the subject document,Chevron herein approves the use of
the Bruns Property cost recovery account for your staff's review time for this site.
Thank you for your consideration.
