Sample depths were determined by physical inspection of each boring as specified below: • B-IA: soil sample collected at 9 to 11 feet bgs; • B-I B: soil sample collected at 18 to 20 feet bgs; • B-1 W: groundwater sample collected at roughly 20 to 24 feet bgs; • B-2A: soil sample collected at 4 to 5 feet bgs; • B-2B: soil sample collected at 17 to 19 feet bgs; • B-2W: groundwater sample collected at roughly 20 to 24 feet bgs; • B-3A: soil sample collected at 4 to 5 feet bgs; • B-3B: soil sample collected at 16 to 18.5 feet bgs(not analyzed); • B-3W: groundwater sample collected at roughly 20 to 24 feet bgs; • B-4A: soil sample collected at 2 to 3 feet bgs; • B-4B: soil sample collected at 13 to 15 feet bgs(not analyzed); • B-4W: groundwater sample collected at roughly 20 to 24 feet bgs; • B-5A: soil sample collected at 4 to 5 feet bgs; • B-5B: soil sample collected at 18 to 20 feet bgs; • B-5 W: groundwater sample collected at roughly 20 to 24 feet bgs; • B-6A: soil sample collected at 4 to 5 feet bgs; • B-6B: soil sample collected at 10 to 11.5 feet bgs; • B-6W: groundwater sample collected at roughly 20 to 24 feet bgs; • B-7A: soil sample collected at 2.5 to 3 feet bgs; • B-7B: soil sample collected at 13 to 14.5 feet bgs; • B-7W: groundwater sample collected at roughly 20 to 24 feet bgs; • B-8A: soil sample collected at 1.5 to 2 feet bgs; • B-8B: soil sample collected at 4 to 5 feet bgs; • B-9A: soil sample collected at 2 to 2.5 feet bgs; • B-9B: soil sample collected at 4.5 to 5 feet bgs; • B-IOA: soil sample collected at 2 to 2.5 feet bgs;and • B-I OB: soil sample collected at 5 to 5.5 feet bgs. The analysis for each sample is delineated in Table 1. A physical description of the soil types encountered was recorded on boring logs in general accordance with the Unified Soils Classification System (USCS). Subsurface deposits were observed to consist predominantly of silty sand to roughly ten to 14 feet bgs then grading to a fine-grained sand and clay mixture. Boring logs depicting the subsurface lithology beneath the subject property at the selected drilling locations are included as Appendix B. Groundwater was encountered between 16.5 and 20 feet bgs. Soil and groundwater samples were placed in new, specially cleaned containers provided by the analytical laboratory, in a manner that minimized air pockets or head-space.
