The relative depths to water measurements at WOS MW No 1 indicate the ' surface of the groundwater has vaned as follows WOS Monitoring Well No.1 1 Date WL FT Elev of Measured below TOC Groundwater TOC=57 54 Surface MSL` ' 12/21/00 4768 986 3130101 4711 1043 highest elevation of water 119102 4964 770 4111102 4835 919 6119102 4870 884 9124102 51 15 639 lowest elevation of water 12/20/02 51 15 639 (note field recorded depth to water were the same for MW No 1 in 9/02 and 12(02 soundings) 3124103 4993 761 619103 4961 793 MSL'based upon Victor Fine Foods MW3A reference to Victor's DATUM and common reference mark on MW No 1TOC CHEMICAL PARAMETERS ' Groundwater Quality The first groundwater sample (June 19, 2002) from MW No 4, located up-gradient of the general contaminated areas, was non detect, 3 months later it was 0 003 mg/Itr greater than the detection level of 0 050 mg/Itr for diesel and 6 months later (December) it was again below detection level of 0 050 mg/L 1 Volatile fractions such as Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl-benzene and Xylene (BTEX) were again not detected in any sampled groundwater BTEX samples were collected and ' analyzed in the March and June 2003 sampling events As BTEX findings continue to be non-detect, we will request discontinuance of BTEX sampling Samples from MW Nos 1 through 3 and 6 indicate low levels of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination The hydrocarbon fraction where found in MW locations may be classified as "diesel" Grab samples (December 2000) from the bottom of ' bonngs BH Nos C-4/C-6 and C-5/C-7 indicated a lighter extractable C10-C-28 fraction The borings were grouted closed after collecting samples and could not be retested Chromatograms from laboratory analysis were submitted in the June 2002 interim report along with complete laboratory reports The most recent March and June 2003 sampling laboratory findings are included herewrkh Reference ATTACHMENT 4, EXTRACTS FROM ANALYTICAL LABORATORY FINDINGS- March and June 2003 During the June 2003 sampling, the "diesel' fraction was detected at levels between 0 06 and 1 6 mg/Itr Levels in MW No 1, the original MW installed in December 2000, remained at 1 5-16 mg/Itr Salinrty of samples as indicated by field measurements at the quarterly MW samplings has averaged between 937 and 1317 pMHOS/cm vs an agricultural water quality goal of 700 pMHOS/cm Pg 3
