l
KLEINFELDER
File No . 20-2662-06
January 24, 1990
Dillon Engineering
1820 West Kettleman Lane, Suite E
Lodi, California 95242
Subject: SOIL BORING AND PERCOLATION TESTING
PROPOSED ALPINE ESTATES SUBDIVISION
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Gentlemen:
Presented in this report are the results of our soil boring an&
percolation testing performed for the subject project. The'
l
proposed subdivision site is located east of Alpine Road between
Fremont Street and Copperopolis Road, east of Stockton in San''
Joaquin County, California . Reference is made to ours
geotechnical investigation report dated August 23, 1989 which was
prepared for the subject subdivision.
We understand that a retention basin will be constructed at the
east corner of the site. Each of the seven lots will contain its
own septic system. The purposes of our soil boring and
percolation testing have been to explore and evaluate the surface
and subsurface soil conditions and to provide recommendations for
use in basin and septic system design. The scope of our services
was outlined in our discussions and in our "Agreement for
Services, " dated December 11, 1989 .
The field explorations for this project consisted of drilling 1
soil boring, 3 deep percolation test holes and 7 shallow
percolation test holes on January 12, 1990. The soil boring was
extended to a depth of approximately 50 feet, and the 3 basin
percolation test holes were extended to depths of approximately
30, 20, and 10 feet for tests 1, 2, and 3, respectively. One 3
KLEINFELDER 2825 East Myrtle Street, Stockton, CA 95205 (209) 948-1345
