Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. The facility <br /> generates waste absorbent from oil or coolant spills and disposes of this waste in the regular trash <br /> according to facility personnel. <br /> Make a hazardous waste determination for the waste absorbent, and manage it according the Title 22 <br /> hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how these <br /> wastes will be managed by my 14, 2011. <br /> Notice to Comply <br /> 20. One 30 gallon containerof waste coolant was labeled: "hazardous waste" and "used antifreeze". All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these continers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since it cannot re determined how long the waste coolant has been on site, immediately <br /> contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of <br /> the manifest to the EHD by July 14, 2011. <br /> Notice of Violation - Class 2 repeat <br /> 23. The oil filter container did not have an accumulation start date. Used oil filters must be stored in a <br /> closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start <br /> date. Immediately add the a cumulation start date and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in <br /> this way. <br /> Notice to Comply <br /> 27. The waste coolant container was open and did not have a lid that will close. All hazardous waste <br /> containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Use a container and lid <br /> that will close. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are <br /> closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE(;122). <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHVS RRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD In or.
