BERBERIAN
BERBERL9N COMPANIES
515 LYELL DRIVE
SUITE 101
MODESTO, CA 95356
TEL (209) 578-5800
FAX(209) 578,3612
Declaration of Robert Van Spronsen
I, Robert Van Spronsen have a personal knowledge of the property located at
26239 E. Miller, Escalon, California—APN 227-040-03 and could testify to the
following matters:
San Joaquin Environmental Heath Department issued a letter dated August 17,
2004 requesting investigation and cleanup of the exterior septic system of the residence at
the identified property.
The residence, which was a manufactured home, was stripped of its contents and
cleaned prior to being removed from the property. The manufactured home is no longer
being occupied in San Joaquin County.
The pumped contents and rinse water from the septic tank was stored in a portable
tank. Ground Zero sampled the contents of the tank and submitted a letter to the county
November 15, 2004 summarizing the results. March 9, 2005, Ground Zero submitted a
work plan proposing transferring the liquid into an open tank to evaporate the liquid. The
dried sludge was placed in 5 gallon buckets for further testing.
The septic tank was removed from the ground and the leach lines were uncovered
for further test samples. No soil was transported from the property. Upon completion of
the samples, the septic tank was disposed of by Modesto Sand and Gravel.
Upon completion of the testing, the leach lines and septic area were back filled
and the area was laser leveled in preparation for orchard planting.
I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the state of California that the
foregoing in true and correct. Executed this S day of December 2005 at Modesto,
California.
Robert Van Spronsen
