20 W. KENTUCKY AVE.
EATON DRILLING CO., INC.POST OFFICE BOX 975
WOODLAND, CA 95695
PHONE (916) 662-6795
CONVENTIONAL & REVERSE CIRCULATION WATER WELL DRILLING
DOMESTIC 0 AGRICULTURAL • INDUSTRIAL
TEST }TOLES s MONITOR WELLS
October 19, 1988
Mr. Doug Wilson
San Joaquin County health Dept.
1601 Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Dear Doug,
Enclosed are applications for abandonment of 19 monitor wells
located in the Santos Ranch area west of the City of Tracy. The
Permit applications are for individual properties and in some
c6ses cover several wells located on the same parcel.
It is our intention to fill the wells to the surface with neat
cement utilizing a grout pump and tremie pipe. After the grout
has set, we will excavate around the casing and remove the casing
to a depth of 5' below ground surface. A 12" cement cap will
then be poured to cover the casing.
We propose to grout a number of wells at the some time and there
return to excavate and pour the cement caps at a later time.
Each well will require two inspections; but, we anticipate each
inspection will involve nine or ten individual wells. If you
have any questions or comments regarding this project, please
contact me at 916/662-6795,
Sincerely,
--5-r_k Kapfen
Drilling Superintendent
DK/ a 1)
