SENT BY: BROSAMER & WALL, LLC; 925 820 3184; MAY-1r' ^3 1 :13PM; PAGE 2
i
May 15,2003
02-1-1'NV002S
The.Mechanics Bank
1646 N. California Boulevard,Suite #200
Walnut.Creek, California 94596
Attention: Ms. Pat Costello
Subject: Limited Phase TI Environmental Site Sampling Report
2200 East.Miner Avenne
Stockton,California
Dear Ms- Costello:
'This report describes a Limited Phase I1 Environmental Site Sampling Report of the site,
located at 2200 Fast Miner Avenue in Stockton, California. The scope of work included a
preliminary subsurface investigation within the subject site to evaluate: potential environmental
impacts from past road construction and paving operations conducted at the site,
On the basis of the information compiled from the sampling of the native soil from seven
onsite test borings (SI3-1 - S13-7) and one ground water sample, our findings indicate levels of total
petroleum hydrocarbons as motor oil appear to be impacting the shallow subsurface soil within the
center east position along the southern portion of the subject site (SB 3 at 5, 10 or .15 feet bus).
_ This location is within the area of previous miscellaneous buildings and above ground oil storage
tanks associated with the former road construction and paving operations. As such, Basics
recommends a copy of this report be forwarded to the local enforcing agency (San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department and/or Regional Water Quality Control Board)for their review.
Should you have any questions regarding this report, please contact the undersigned.
Sincerely,
Basics Environmental
i
Donava G.Tom, M.B.A-, R.E.A.
