Maximum concentration <br /> detected included 25 mg/kg total petroleum hydrocarbons as gas; 810 mg/kg total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as diesel; 270 mg/kg total petroleum hydrocarbons as kerosene: 44M mg/kg total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons as motor oil; 16 tog/kg total petroleum hydrocarbons as stoddard solvent; <br /> 0-M60 mg/kg benzene; 0.0095 mg/kg toluene; 0.014 rng/kg ethylbenzene; and 0.13 mg/kr total <br /> xylenes. <br /> No detectable amounts of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline, diesel, kerosene. mortem <br /> oil, stoddard solvent or its constituents were discovered within the other soil samples collected at 5. <br /> 10 or 15 feet bgs, with the exception of 1.5 mg/kg of diesel within S13-2 (center west position along- <br /> the. <br /> longthe.southern portion of the subject site at 5, 10 or 15 feet bgs. In addition, no detectable amounts of <br /> halogenated volatile organic compounds were discovered within any of the soil samples collected at <br /> 5, 10 or 15 feet bgs. <br /> Detectable amotints of chromiurn, lead, nickel and zinc were discovered within all of the soil <br /> samples collected at 5, 10 or 15 feet bgs. Maximuttt concentration detected included 46 trig/kg of <br /> chromium; 8.1 rng/kg of lead;46 rrrg/kg of nickel; and 54 mg/kg of zinc. <br /> Analytical results indicate the levels of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline, diesel. <br /> kerosene, stoddard solvent and its constituents in tic soil are not considered significant and below <br /> regulatory action. The level of these chemicals are below the. Risk Based Screening level of (400 <br /> mg/kg TPH as gasoline, 500 mg/kg TPH as middle distillates, 1,000 ung/kg TPH as residual fuefs, <br /> _ 0.39 inn/kg benzene, 8.4 mg/kg toluene, 24 mg/kg ethylbenzene, 1.0 total xylenes ) set forth by (lie <br /> Regional Water QnHlity Control Board for industrial/commercial sites. <br /> PI IASE II-04 4-1 02-ENVO02S <br />
