3. GROUNDWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM OPERATION <br />' A vacuum vaporizer well system, known as UVB (Unterdruck Verdampfer Brunnen), began <br /> operating at the site on 6 February 1997 A description of the UVB system is included in an <br /> installation report issued in June 1997 The UVB system did not operate during the fourth quarter <br />' of 2000 The system was shut down on 22 September 2000 as proposed during the 12 September <br /> 2000 meeting between San Joaquin County Public Health Services and ExxonMobil As of 22 <br /> September 2000, approximately 1,916 pounds of TPH-g have been stripped from the groundwater <br />' Table 2 provides a summary of 2000 field data and laboratory analytical results for the UVB system <br /> A graphic representation of the WB system performance to date is shown in Figure 3 <br /> 4. WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER <br />' Depths to water will be measured and groundwater samples will be collected in March 2001 The <br /> samples will be analyzed for TPH-g, BTEX, and MTBE <br /> A risk assessment work plan for the site was submitted to the San Joaquin County Public Health <br />' Services in October 2000 The proposed work was performed in December 2000 A report will be <br /> submitted during the first quarter of 2001 <br /> I <br /> I <br /> "'i-JIUS\73942 MS URl4v \012On1tr do, 2 <br />
