O. Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
Dear Mr. Wilson:
Enclosed is a draft Work Plan for the investigation of Roy' s Auto
Wrecking located at 3570 E. Miner Street in Stockton. Ms. Lisa
Brown of the District Attorney ' s Office suggested I send you a
copy of the plan. We will be working with the Department of
Health Services on this investigation, but if you would like to
be kept informed of the progress, copies of the report will be
available.
Currently, the plan is to start drilling on December 10, 1990 .
After a cursory review of the plan, Caltrans may request the
number of boreholes to be cut back, especially in areas where
only the body parts of cars were stored. In areas where we have
definite staining of the soil from engines, transmissions, etc.
the number of borings proposed will be retained.
If you have any questions or require additional information,
please call me in Stockton at (209) 948-3811.
Very Truly Yours
GARY SWEETEN
Environmental Planner
Attachments
