Box 2048
Stockton, CA 95201
Dear Mr. Sweeten:
PRELIMINARY SITE ASSESSMENT WORKPLAN - ROY'S AUTO WRECKING, 3570
EAST MINER STREET, STOCKTON
The Department of Health Services, Toxic Substances Control
Program (Department) was requested by your office to review the
subject document. Pursuant to Section 25347 . 6 of the Health and
Safety Code, the Department is required to assess fees for
administrative costs associated with hazardous waste site
investigation and remediation, including the review of workplans.
For this reason, the report will be maintained in our files with
the notation that it has not been reviewed by the Department.
However, we are screening the information in the report to
determine what action this agency should take in order to protect
human health and the environment. Any remediation action
conducted without Department oversight does not preclude us from
requiring future actions should cleanup actions be found not to
be protective.
Should oversight of the proposed actions be requested, please
contact me at (916) 855-7882 for further information.
Sincerely,
Megan Cambridge, Chief
Site Evaluation Unit
Site Mitigation Branch
cc: Mr. Randy P.
