Lower Sacramento Rd. 1016 12th Street <br /> Modesto, CA 95354 <br /> Stockton, CA 95210 <br /> Dear Mr. Martin: <br /> The San Joaquin County Department of Aviation (Stockton Metropolitan <br /> Airport) , has reviewed the above-referenced Pre-Application with <br /> respect to those areas germane to the operations of the Stockton <br /> Metropolitan Airport. <br /> Although the 65 db "community noise equivalent level" (CNEL) contours <br /> for Stockton Metropolitan Airport do not extend over the proposed pro- <br /> ject, his area may be subjected to the "single event noise exposure <br /> level" (SENEL) as this projectis <br /> locnoiselwhichawas ascertainedbfromed <br /> trea which is suject <br /> nt <br /> to periodic overflight and re <br /> field monitoring of both military and civil aircraft operations. <br /> Accordingly, the Department of Aviation is recommending that as a con- <br /> dition of approval , County Planning require the applicant to grant a <br /> Deed of Avi ation and Hazard Easement to the County to protect the <br /> f the Stockton Metropolitan Airport, now and for <br /> operational environs o <br /> the future. <br /> Enclosed for the project application package is a Deed of Avigation <br /> and Hazard Easement. The intent of such easement is to grant to the <br /> County a perpetual , assignable easement permitting overflight of the <br /> property by aircraft, together with any inherent noise or other <br /> emissions which are inherent in the operation of aircraft.
