The last service date was April 2015. All facility <br /> communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination <br /> equipment, where requirec, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of <br /> emergency. Immediately begin this practice. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored azardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored <br /> on site at any time may stc re waste on site up to 180 days. A clear 5 gallon container of propylene glycol waste in the <br /> back of the facility was not labeled. Since it cannot be determined how long the hazardous waste has been on site, <br /> immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest. Submit a copy of the <br /> manifest to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation.� <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Containers of hazardous waste not labeled correctly: <br /> -A clear 5 gallon container of of propylene glycol was not labeled. <br /> -A black 5 gallon container of hydrocarbon dry cleaning waste in the back of the facility was not labeled. This was <br /> corrected on site by disposing into 55 gallon drum and based on disposal records. <br /> -A black 55 gallon drum of hydrocarbon dry cleaning waste behind the facility did not have the hazardous property or <br /> physical state listed. This was corrected on site. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous)Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> - hazardous properties <br /> - physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by July 9, 2016 . <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br />
